After you discover men and women referring to business Ethernet, it is regrettable that in the telecom world of today, you can't be totally clear on what they are talking about. The really regrettable facet of this is that the DSL and cable companies have thrown the word “Ethernet” around a lot that it almost means very little to the average consumer, just as the equally useless term “broadband”.
